Jennie berjalan malas menuju kelas yang biasa ia pakai untuk kuliah. Entah apa yang melewati pikirannya, Jennie berbalik dan berniat untuk ke kantin karena waktu masuk masih lama.

Jennie duduk di salah satu bangku dekat jendela sambil mengutak atik handphone nya.

“Mba Latte nya satu”

Suara itu bukan dari mulut Jennie melainkan lelaki di seberang mejanya. Jennie terdiam sebentar, lalu tersadar.

Tanpa sapaan ataupun senyuman, seperti orang asing. Keinginan untuk menyapa pun hilang.

‘he doesn't even care anymore’

Mood Jennie untuk makan pun hilang. Ia beranjak pergi meninggalkan kantin.

“Hey disini Jen? kampus kamu kan di seberang?”

“Eh hai kak, iya lagi main aja. Ga ada kelas?”

“Baru aja selesai, kamu?”

“Bentar lagi nih”

“Semangat yaa”

Jennie mengangguk sambil tersenyum sumringah, dalam hati udah gak karuan.

Mino, kakak tingkat diatasnya yang ia kagumi semenjak masuk salah satu unit kegiatan mahasiswa di bidang photography yang diikuti Jennie.

Berawal dari nganterin Jennie pulang karena jadwal rapat yang kadang sampai larut.

Orangnya humble, gak jaim sama sekali. Kalo udah pake kacamata cakepnya nambah.

Sayang, udah ada pemiliknya. Apalah daya Jennie yang hanya bisa mengagumi.

‘jen lo udah naksir kak Mino kenapa masih galauin Jaewon’

‘jen katanya udah ga peduli kok foto jaewon masih disimpen simpen’

‘labil banget jen pilih satu dong’

Jawabannya cuma satu. Seseorang boleh pergi, tapi memori tertinggal permanen.

Seorang Jung Jaewon yang kerap menjadi alasan kagalauan Jennie berasal. Alasan awal Jennie untuk mengikuti ukm photography itu ya dia.

Jaewon memang dikenal pintar photography yang sudah ia tekuni dari SMA.

Prinsip Jennie, Gak minta lebih, cukup bisa sering liat dia aja. Tapi prinsip itu yang bikin Jennie jadi kalap. Bukannya ngebantu proses move on malah rasa itu semakin bertambah.

‘kenal Jaewon udah berapa lama?’

Jangan ditanya, kenal juga baru dari acara ospek.

Berasal dari satu kelompok ospek, semua perlakuan care Jaewon ke Jennie, yang mungkin disalahartikan oleh Jennie, yang nyatanya gak ada maksud apa apa.

Jennie cukup tau itu, dan bodohnya ia berharap sesuatu yang lebih dari seorang Jung Jaewon.

Jennie selalu merutuki dirinya sendiri, sambil membatin setiap berpapasan dengan Jaewon.

‘sapa gak ya, sapa gak ya’

Terlalu canggung untuk menyapa, terlalu gelisah untuk diam saja. Berakhir dengan pura pura gak ngeliat.

Jennie jalan gontai,

“Jen, but what if he's waiting for you to start talking to him and you're waiting for him to start talking to you?”

mino heard some noises from outside his room.

“what time is it, who’s watching tv at this hour” mino muttered.

he started walking to see the situation.

“again?” mino asked make the girl startled.

“you scaring me out mino!” she said with little high pitch.

“i’m sorry” mino grinning while leaning side his door, look at her from afar.

“is it too loud? sorry i’ll turn it off” she said while searching for the remote.

“you should sleep, are you not going to work later?” he asked with half asleep face.

“of course i work, it’s ok coffee exists” she answered calmly.

“pay attention to your health girl”

“alright stop nagging and go back to sleep”

mino nodded then smile before close the door leaving his housemate in the living room.

mino try so hard to sleep but he just can’t. something bothered his mind then he start walking out while grabbing his pillow and blanket.

“what’s again?” she look at him strangely.

‘of course i’ll accompany you, fool’

“nothing, suddenly i want to sleep in the couch” he lied.

“you weird” she shaking her head.

“turn on the tv i think there’s something fun to watch” mino asked.

she did what he said.

“is it often?” he suddenly asked.

“what?”

“your nightmare, it seems bad”

“don’t worry about me, i can handle this”

mino nodded, and they go silent.

“you can come to my room if it happens again, at least you don’t feel alone and maybe it helps a bit” he said.

aurora can’t think properly after he said that. “w-what do you mean? are we going to sleep together or what” she replied and try to keep calm as they look at each other.

mino laughs. “if we’re going to sleep then, yes...” mino answered ambiguously.

aurora can’t control her face because he just make her more confused.

then mino laughs again. “if not then we can just playing around with my playstation or watching some movies like this, wait what are you thinking about?”

she just can’t hide her embarrassment, then started hit him with pillow. “i’m not thinking anything! you just make me confused and gosh i hate you!”

mino currently searching for a housemate because his apartment still have one empty room, a pity if it is not occupied and his apartment too large for himself.

mino asked a lot of his friends but they’re already got their own place, then suddenly he tried to post a tweet.

mino smiling at his phone after that short convo with that unknown girl. he don’t even know her name, but he had a feeling that he’ll get a housemate and new friend at once.

aurora get ready 30 mins before. she is not the type of girl who take a long time to do preparation, 30 mins is more than enough. she wore a pair of blue jeans and white comfy t-shirt with her favorite purple sling bag on her right shoulder. she combed her hair down and lastly put some vanilla perfume on her wrist.

aurora : i’m on my way mino : alright take care

“he is so kind, hope he won’t turn into a weird guy” aurora muttered.

from afar mino waiting for her while drinks his coffee.

mino : what are you wearing? aurora : blue jeans and white t-shirt mino : many people wear that😂 aurora : lmao wrong outfit i guess mino : i think i saw you aurora : where you at mino : blue jeans white t-shirt and awkward moves right? aurora : seriously... mino : jk jk haha aurora : what are you wearing? mino : i’m wearing a white mask aurora : weird hair? mino : lol so mean aurora : hahaha jk

mino and aurora greet each other awkwardly then started walking to mino’s apartement. they both silent and makes aurora feels weird then she started opening conversation.

“is it still far?” aurora asked. “no it’s not. calm down won’t make you sweat” mino answered playfully. aurora chuckles, “do you usually drink two coffee?” aurora asked while looking at mino, he’s holding two ice coffee. “oh my god this one for you, i forgot” answered mino. “why you forget things so easily? you need some therapy” aurora tease him. mino just laugh and they both seems so comfortable to each other.

after 5 mins walking they arrived at mino’s apartement.

“5th floor” mino muttered while pressing number button on the lift. “wow it’s a great place, i wonder how much it costs” aurora said. “i told you not to worry about that” mino respond to her words. “how could i not worry if the price is unbearable” aurora said with annoyed gaze. mino smile, he finds her cute.

mino looking at her housemate, she is watching her favorite tv show with snacks in front of her. she laughed occasionally and mino finds that attractive.

“is it that funny?” mino asked then start approach her in the living room. “mino you should watch this! this is so funny i’m tired of laughing” aurora said while mino sitting next to her and started leaning his head to her shoulder. “let’s watch horror movies tonight” mino asked. “what? horror movies at saturday night? are you being serious?” “why not? is it weird?” “no, that’s not what i mean. hmm are you not going out with your ‘girls’?” aurora asked while looking at him suspiciously. “what do you mean by ‘girls’? i sound like a jerk or something” “hahaha i’m sorry” “then watch horror movies with me if you’re sorry” “gosh you such a baby” “i know i’m cute” mino said, make aurora rolling her eyes.

“mino, can we get some snacks first?” asked aurora begging him to take her to the store. “where did bunch of snacks we bought last week go?” mino asked and staring at her. aurora smiling unashamedly. “how you got that tiny waist with your snacking habbit” mino shake his head.

they've been bestfriends for 4 years, since their first meeting. mino didn’t expect to be this comfortable with her.
